Is your Hotmail account “hotter” then you think?

Some SERIOUS security holes were patched by Microsoft this week.  The issues was caused by an exploit in the password reset service.

You should know my thoughts on this:

  1. Passwords should be more than 13 characters.
  2. If you use an online service of ANY kind, you need to check it once a day….leaving an online service “un-managed" is ASKING for it! :-)

Ahh Adobe…Still having issues?!

Adobe ships patches for flaws that could cause the application to crash and potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system.

My point here is that when you think security, you can’t limit yourself to think JUST about the O/S or your anti-virus.  You have to keep your applications up to date.
